📋 Description

• Responsible for supporting clients' custom and off-the-shelf software through all lifecycle phases. • Owns the change request process and may coordinate with other teams. • Provides technical advice and weighs in on technical decisions. • Researches and may propose new technologies. • Develops and owns list of final enhancements. • Performs technical design reviews and code reviews. • May own technical testing to ensures unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements. • Supports data information planning and on-call support. • Maintains technical development environment. • Mentors others and may lead multiple or small to medium sized projects. • Engage with test engineers to maintain automated testing processes. • Maintain application and environment configuration through automated processes.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years working in a DevOps, application support or administration, or configuration engineering role • 2+ years working in a hybrid public/private cloud environment including AWS • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and continuous integration/delivery concepts • Ability to work in both Windows and Linux environments • Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker, openshift • Experience working with deployment automation tools such as Jenkins, Cloudbees • Fluency in one or more common scripting languages such as Python, Terraform, ansible, Groovy, Bourne shell, or PowerShell • Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 5+ years related experience; multi dimensional platform experience; expert level experience with business and technical applications, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. • Attention to detail & excellent communication skills is must. • Experience with RDBMS as well as NoSQL data platforms. • A strong understanding of IP networking, including load balancing, routing, and firewall concepts.
