• Role: Technical Project Manager • Location: 100% Remote (Candidates must be located within specific regions or countries based on job requirements) • Type: Full-Time, Exempt for all US • Position Summary: Our client is a leading cybersecurity compliance firm that specializes in providing comprehensive security assessment, advisory, and technical security testing services. • Our client is in search of a Technical Project Manager with a background in cybersecurity and risk management to lead and oversee cybersecurity projects. • The Technical Project Manager will ensure timely delivery within scope and compliance with security regulations. • You will collaborate with cybersecurity engineers, compliance experts, and external clients to deliver tailored security solutions. • Lead end-to-end management of cybersecurity and risk management projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and budgets. • Work with internal teams and external clients to define project objectives, deliverables, and security requirements. • Manage project schedules, resources, and tasks using project management methodologies. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute projects aligned with security best practices. • Ensure projects comply with cybersecurity frameworks and regulations. • Identify potential security risks and collaborate with technical teams to develop mitigation strategies. • Prepare and present project status updates and risk assessments to both internal stakeholders and external clients. • Act as the main point of contact for client engagements, addressing their cybersecurity needs and concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in technical project management • Cybersecurity or Information Security experience a plus • Certifications (preferred): PMP, CISM, CISSP, or similar project management and security certifications. • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIST, PCI DSS, HIPAA, ISO 27001). • Experience in project management software • Experience with Asana or Mavenlink/Kantata a plus • Strong communication and client-facing skills.
