Description
• Ensure the quality and reliability of heyData’s software solutions through rigorous testing and validation • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand the product vision, technical requirements, and potential edge cases • Design and execute test plans and test cases for manual and automated testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage • Investigate and report bugs effectively, working closely with Engineering and Product team to resolve issues • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to optimize testing strategies and processes • Mentor and guide team members in QA best practices and methodologies
Requirements
• Minimum of three years of experience in QA engineering, manual and automated testing • Proficiency in testing frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies, Agile and CI/CD practices • Experience in writing and maintaining automated test scripts in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and tools like Postman, Swagger for API testing • Understanding of version control systems like Git and workflows like Gitflow • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for testing containerized applications, or a desire to learn • Excellent communication skills in English • Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for identifying and resolving quality issues
