Description
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with Australian and UK accounting standards. • Manage accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll processing. • Prepare and file tax returns, including GST, VAT, corporate tax, and income tax for both Australian and UK jurisdictions. • Ensure compliance with fringe benefits tax (FBT) regulations and prepare necessary documentation. • Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making. • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audits. • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards in both regions. • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations. • Provide support and guidance during the budgeting and forecasting processes. • Perform other accounting and financial duties as required.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • 2-3 years of proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role. • Proven experience as an accountant with expertise in both Australian and UK accounting practices. • In-depth knowledge of GST, VAT, FBT, and other relevant tax regulations. • Strong mathematical and analytical capabilities. • Capability to handle confidential information discreetly. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. • Eagerness to learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
