Description

• Hitachi Energy is seeking a Business Process Project Manager. • This role will report into the North America Business Process Manager. • The Business Process Project Manager is responsible for working with the factory BPO team to track action plans, projects deliverables, communicate project status and forecast & plan the next set of priorities. • The scope of project tracking will span from quotation through warranty processes and will include all common global and regional systems and applications utilized to execute the business process. • Support each factory BPO to assess current business state and define business priorities for process improvements. • Track priorities improvement projects, action plans and report out collective progress across the HUB. • Ensure business process have been documented & assist in organizing and storing & cataloging documentation for end user use. • Document business enhancements, bring forth to discuss within BPO community. • Investigate and prioritize business requirements to define scope and objectives of the projects and prepare schedules, limitations, time, and desired results. • Forecast priorities and help define strategy for process improvements. • Provide communications to the key stakeholders within the factories and HUB for clarity and transparency. • Living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum 7-10 years of experience. • Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in United States. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business or a related field or 7 or more years of manufacturing experience. • Proven relationship-building and project management skills. • Excellent written and verbal communications skills will be required to negotiate resolutions of controversial issues. • Demonstrated team orientation, motivation, and flexibility. • Able to travel domestically, 10-30% travel required. • Ability to meet frequently for project updates and team meetings (onsite or virtually). • Additional Skill Sets - Value Stream Mapping and ERP and lean manufacturing concepts. • Requires broad knowledge of manufacturing operations, business processes, business tools and the flow of data. • Requires strong analytical skills, initiative, and ingenuity to solve complex problems and implement remedial measures.
