β’ As a Distinguished Engineer, you will be responsible: β’ Helping to shape the go-forward direction of the IT Finance organization; β’ Working with senior leaders, vendors, and partners to influence technology roadmaps and the adoption of new technologies across the enterprise. β’ Collaborating across all IT organizations, leveraging your comprehensive knowledge and expertise in all retail/IT domains to inform decision making and support diverse organizational objectives. β’ Establishing the patterns needed to drive financial accuracy and completeness that will reduce overall shrink and swell for the company. β’ Improving our security posture. β’ Representing all of IT Finance in the application architecture review processes.
β’ Minimum Qualifications: β’ Must be eighteen years of age or older. β’ Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. β’ Preferred Qualifications: β’ 8-10 years of relevant work experience. β’ Professionally recognized by peers and leaders in the organization for significant expertise working in IT Finance domain or similar. β’ Mastery of problem solving, innovation, vision, judgement, and leadership within a specific domain. β’ Track record of working across multiple domains (including Finance, Cybersecurity, and other IT domains). β’ Complete understanding of patterns to improve security, completeness, and accuracy of financial data. β’ Complete understanding of SOX control principles and how to establish systematic patterns to ensure compliance of these controls. β’ Track record of creating architecture blueprints and driving compliance of them. β’ Track record of noteworthy innovation and execution that shaped the direction of an organization and/or the industry within a specific domain. β’ Track record of teaching, mentoring, growing and advising other domain experts inside and outside of the organization. β’ Capable of understanding complicated systems quickly. β’ Mastery of leading architecture decisions in Finance domain.
