📋 Description

• As a Software Engineer Sr. Manager, you will be given a chance to contribute to the products we create and help grow the next generation of engineering talent. • This role will help shape the future direction of The Home Depot’s customer facing Mobile Application. • The Sr. Manager must exhibit the ability to lead managers and their teams and drive change management and process improvement. • Collaborates and pairs with product team members (UX, engineering, and product management) to create secure, reliable, scalable software solutions. • Documents, reviews and ensures that all quality and change control standards are met. • Writes custom code or scripts to automate infrastructure, monitoring services, and test cases. • Works with vendors and partners for the successful implementation of critical tooling and platforms. • Creates meaningful dashboards, logging, alerting, and responses to ensure that issues are captured and addressed proactively. • Participates in and leads review board sessions to drive consistency across the enterprise. • Provides leadership, mentoring, and coaching to Software Engineers. • Attracts, retains, and develops top talent to build a world-class Software Engineering Team.

🎯 Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older. • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. • Mastery of an object oriented programming language (preferably Java) • 6-8 years of relevant work experience • Mastery of development, testing and deployment of Android & iOS applications • Mastery of Swift, Swift UI, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Multiplatform • Mastery of modern product development processes and pipelines • Mastery of modern testing methodologies • Mastery in effective troubleshooting and issue resolution techniques • Mastery in effective system monitoring and log analysis techniques • Proficient of writing queries against a database • Proficient of a modern scripting language (preferably Python) • Proficient of a modern web applications utilizing technologies such as ReactJS and Node.js • Capable of understanding complicated systems quickly • Proficiency in guiding more junior team members through Software Engineering fundamentals in a professional setting • Mastery managing and growing team members in a professional setting • Mastery balancing workloads across teams • Experience managing vendor relationships • Experience with translating high level strategy to tactical execution.
