Description

• This position is responsible for leading loan reviews which analyze and evaluate the Bank’s commercial lending, commercial real estate and/or residential construction loan portfolios • Responsibilities include assessing the accuracy of risk ratings within the portfolio, adherence to underwriting and credit policy standards • Evaluate complex financial statements and loan transactions with minimal supervision • Prepare and present Loan Review Reports to Management and the Board of Directors • Analyze Credit Risk and ensure loans meet credit and underwriting standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance or equivalent education and work experience • Minimum 7 years’ experience in loan review, underwriting or commercial credit analysis • Strong working knowledge of current loan review processes, loan classifications, risk management techniques and regulatory guidance on lending required • General knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations governing credit administration functions and experience in developing credit policies and procedures • Credit underwriting or analysis experience in the following lending areas: C & I, investor real estate and/or residential construction lending principals and loan structures • Demonstrated abilities in analyzing complex financial statements, property cash-flows, budgets and projections, and relevant market trends • Strong knowledge of commercial appraisal methodology with the ability to evaluate whether collateral is properly analyzed • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Self-starter with the demonstrated ability to work independently • High level of personal integrity, judgment and ability to handle confidential information • Proficiency using MS office suite with particular expertise using Excel for data analysis
