📋 Description
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using Ruby on Rails. • Deliver comprehensive solutions by working across the full technology stack, including both back-end (Rails APIs, database management) and front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) components. • Collaborate in the design and architecture of new services and enhancements to our payment processing platform. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges while optimizing system performance. • Work with product managers, UI/UX designers, and fellow engineers to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions. • Participate in pair programming and collaborative code reviews to maintain high coding standards. • Develop and maintain clear documentation to support system development and future enhancements, adhering to industry best practices.
🎯 Requirements
• 4+ years of professional software development with a strong focus on Ruby on Rails. • Demonstrated expertise in Ruby on Rails and full-stack development principles. • Proven experience in building APIs and scalable web applications. • Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and RESTful API design. • Exceptional ability to diagnose complex issues and optimize software performance. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders. • Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently. You take ownership of your work, continually seek improvement, and are comfortable traversing the entire technology stack. • Experience with payment processing software. • Familiarity with building GraphQL APIs.
