Description
• We are looking for a motivated Lead QA Engineer to spearhead our quality assurance efforts. Reporting directly to VP of Engineering, you will be instrumental in driving the QA lifecycle, developing test strategies, and leading a team towards delivering high-quality software releases. • Your expertise will ensure the implementation of effective test plans, automation frameworks, and continuous integration processes. This position offers the opportunity to innovate in testing methodologies and play a key role in our product development cycle, contributing significantly to the enhancement of software quality and team efficiency.
Requirements
• You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience • You have at least 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role • You have excellent English communication skills, especially written • You have proven expertise in devising overall test strategy, developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools • You have strong experience in test automation frameworks like Selenium, with proficiency in languages such as Python, Ruby, or Java • You have excellent understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies and tools (Jira), with experience in supporting Agile teams • You are well versed with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Bamboo, and testing frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber • You have experience with test case management platforms such as TestRail, Zephyr or HP ALM/QC • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders • You possess strong mentoring skills, with the passion and ability to develop and lead a team to achieve their full potential
