Description

• The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining core parts of NodeZero’s autonomous penetration testing platform. • This platform coordinates execution of an ever-growing set of “attack modules” to efficiently and safely conduct a penetration test in the target environment. • You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle for our core product, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. • This is a dynamic position that offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of tasks, crossing the boundaries of software development and offensive security.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python: Expert-level proficiency in large-scale Python software development. • Software Design: Experience in creating, communicating, and evaluating software designs, including identifying tradeoffs in performance and maintainability. • Network Protocols: Strong understanding of network protocols and their intricacies, including their role in exploitation vectors. • Database Experience: Experience with relational (Postgres) or graph (Neo4j) database systems. • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Software Engineering or similar role. • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field. • Introductory knowledge of or experience with offensive security and penetration testing (e.g. capture the flags, hack the box, etc.).
