📋 Description
• HostPapa is seeking a proactive, reliable, and resourceful Systems Administrator to manage and maintain our Linux web hosting infrastructure. • In this role, you will monitor system performance, assist the Support team as needed, and escalate issues promptly. • Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset are essential for success in this position.
🎯 Requirements
• At least 2 years of experience as a Linux Systems Administrator in a web hosting environment • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve common web hosting issues, such as mail deliverability, high CPU load, and Apache outages • Proficiency in Rocky or AlmaLinux 8/9 and familiarity with tools like cPanel, CloudLinux, LAMP stack, and Linux system diagnostics tools • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English • Experience with virtualization systems (preferably KVM) at both the hypervisor and guest VM levels • Basic bash scripting skills with the ability to interpret and modify scripts as needed • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and proactively improve processes • Strong customer focus with a commitment to delivering excellent service
