• Conduct 1:1 meetings • Develop trust with engineers to detect risks early • Gather stakeholder's insights about challenges, pain points and strategies that can be leveraged in supporting the engineer's growth strategy • Guide and support the developers through day-to-day challenges • Mentor the engineers in their career progression • Monitor engineer satisfaction and performance. Conduct performance reviews and performance improvement plans as needed • Conduct interviews and asses potential candidates • Contributes to constantly improving internal processes so that they drive the expected results in the areas of responsibility of the engineering department • Influence colleagues to achieve the highest standards
• Prior experience in management or leadership roles in technology companies or teams • Proven track record of successful project delivery • Familiarity with the company's industry or similar sectors: Technology stat-up scene • Experience in scaling and growing engineering teams • B2+ English level • Project management techniques • Agile methodologies knowledge • Solid understanding of engineering principles and practices • Familiarity with industry-standard tools and technologies • In-depth technical knowledge of every aspect of the engineering process
