📋 Description

• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals. • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and commissions/bonuses. • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP. • Support external audits, including preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries. • Oversee AR and AP functions, managing invoicing, collections, and vendor payments. • Serve as the internal point person for finance-related inquiries. • Monitor and manage company spending, ensuring alignment with budgets and policies. • Assist with payroll planning and reporting; serve as a backup for payroll processing. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international tax regulations, including sales tax and VAT. • Manage corporate credit card transactions, employee reimbursements, and travel & expense systems. • Collaborate with external accounting support, including outsourced bookkeeping, tax advisors, and auditors. • Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and financial systems.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of accounting/finance experience (Big 4 or regional firm experience preferred). • CPA preferred but not required. • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (required). • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. • Experience with accounting software (Ramp, Xero, or similar tools). • Ability to analyze financial data and derive meaningful insights. • Highly detail-oriented with a strong process-driven mindset. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a bias for action.
