📋 Description

• Reporting directly to The Lead DevOps Engineer, the Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure. • This position will work closely with data analysts and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth flow and integrity of data across various systems. • Develop and maintain data pipelines to collect, process, and transform datasets from various sources, ensuring scalability and reliability. • Continuously optimize and improve the performance of data pipelines and storage systems. Conduct troubleshooting and resolve performance issues. • Uplift existing pipelines to support more timely data. • Maintain and update technical documentation related to data processes and workflows. • Work closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Business Intelligence teams to ensure data is available, accurate, and usable for analytics, reporting & AI/ML purposes. • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers, helping them grow in their technical expertise and understanding of the data engineering discipline.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases • Strong Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, automation, and integration tasks • Proficiency with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g. Apache Airflow, AWS Step Functions, Informatica) • Experience working with DBT (or similar) for transforming and modeling data. • Experience in managing and maintaining cloud-based data infrastructure, particularly AWS Redshift. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
