Description

• You will be helping by monitoring, identifying, and providing strategic guidance to HSO on emerging areas of importance. • Helping to identify sponsorship and endorsement opportunities. • Working with key stakeholders and experts from Canada and internationally. • Advising and reaching consensus on the topics for inclusion and the content of the standards.

Requirements

• You identify with one of these four stakeholder categories: Residents and Families, Providers, Policy makers/health services stakeholders, General interest. • You have subject matter expertise through professional and lived experience. • You have demonstrated experience working in collaborative settings, and exhibiting the diplomacy, tact, and respect required for group interactions. • You are able to commit to the time investment and constraints as required for Technical Committee activities. • You are able to work and collaborate with others in English.

Benefits

• All positions on the Technical Committee are voluntary. • A patient and family volunteer honorarium is provided to all residents and family members participating on HSO’s Long Term Care Technical Committee. • HSO typically provides reimbursement to Technical Committee members for expenses related to attending an in-person meeting in Ottawa.
