📋 Description

• Role works closely with the Project Manager and the System Design Authority. • Responsible for successfully delivering engineering activities to time, cost and quality. • Lead a multi-disciplinary team, delivering a defined scope of engineering work. • Suit someone with a background in working on complex engineering projects with experience of work package management.

🎯 Requirements

• Great communication skills to build strong relationships within the team and with stakeholders. • Experience of managing a team through an engineering development project. • Experience of defence projects. • Experience of engineering estimation. • Experience of producing engineering plans with dependencies, assumptions, risk and opportunities identified, communicated and managed. • An understanding of the different design gates a project goes through, from bid to full scale production readiness review. • An understanding of configuration management and change management. • A background in systems engineering, with an understanding of electrical, mechanical and software engineering.
