📋 Description

• The Planning and Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for the effective planning, scheduling, and allocation of resources across multiple engineering projects to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity. • This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organizational and communication skills. • Develop and maintain detailed schedules for engineering projects, including all critical milestones. • Coordinate with project managers and engineering teams to allocate necessary resources and personnel. • Monitor project timelines and schedules, adjusting as needed in response to any changes or delays. • Assist in project planning and resource forecasting for engineering projects. • Analyze project performance data to identify trends, efficiencies, and areas for improvement. • Prepare and present regular reports on project status and resource utilization to management. • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in project execution. • Capture and calculate capacities vs. workloads to assist in utilization of resources. • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement solutions with input from others. • Maintain relationship with customers via phone calls and e-mail correspondence. • Support in the creation of new projects within multiple software platforms.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field is preferred. • Three to five years experience in planning or production control in an engineering environment. • Proven experience in project management or scheduling, preferably in an engineering environment. • Strong proficiency with project management software and tools. • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. • Proven ability to think critically and use data to make sound decisions. • Track record of influencing others and working together to achieve common goals. • Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to find root cause. • Strong computer skills including MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.
