Description

• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, monitoring, and optimizing cloud resources. • Implement and manage cloud security policies and practices to protect data and applications. • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues to ensure high availability and reliability. • Collaborate with engineering and development teams to design and implement scalable and resilient cloud architectures. • Monitor cloud environments to ensure performance, availability, and cost efficiency. • Develop, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes and improve deployment efficiency. • Work with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle. • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar. • Monitor and manage the performance and availability of applications and services through automated alerts and logging systems. • Facilitate continuous improvement of DevOps processes and practices based on feedback and metrics. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development and deployment efforts. • Provide technical support and guidance to development teams regarding cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. • Document and share best practices, procedures, and troubleshooting guides with team members. • Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, tools, and industry trends to drive innovation and improvements. • Respond to and resolve operational incidents, outages, and performance issues in a timely manner. • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues. • Maintain and update disaster recovery plans and ensure regular testing of recovery procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud operations, DevOps, or a related role. • Active Cloud Architect Certification from any CSP. • Active DoD Secret Clearance. • Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. • Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef/Puppet. • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and collaboration abilities. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment. • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team. • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
