• This is a Remote role within our Core Huntington Footprint. • The Regulatory Reporting Conformance Testing Program provides assurance over completeness and accuracy of regulatory reporting instructions. • This role serves as the technical subject matter expert for the Conformance Testing team. • Provides thought leadership and technical review of data supply chains used in regulatory reports. • Responsible for leading and overseeing testing and validation of critical data elements supporting liquidity-based regulatory reports. • Partner closely with Regulatory Reporting Assurance Director and Liquidity Risk Oversight team. • Review data dictionaries and assess appropriateness of critical data elements. • Lead process walkthroughs with business and technical stakeholders to validate regulatory reporting production processes. • Document results of conformance tests in work papers. • Prepare and present clear reports on testing results to senior management.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business-related field (management information systems, data science, computer science, accounting, finance, statistics, etc.) • 8 years experience Consulting/Audit/Risk experience with financial service service clients in a financial services environment. • Proficiency with SQL strongly preferred; familiarity with other languages such as Python, SAS, and R • Prior experience with regulatory reporting, auditing, risk management, and/or data management at a large financial institution • Relevant certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), etc. • Master’s Degree in a business or technical field, emphasis on analytics and statistics • Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills • Effective communicator (written and verbal) • Ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams • Can manage competing priorities and deliver high quality work in a timely fashion • Experience with mentoring and supervising junior colleagues • Passion for continuous learning and development
