Requirements

β€’ 10+ years of experience developing complex software products β€’ 8+ years of programming in Ruby on Rails β€’ BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience β€’ Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment β€’ Experience with Javascript β€’ Experience with AWS or any public cloud environments β€’ Experience working on Linux-based infrastructure β€’ Experience with databases such as Postgres β€’ Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills β€’ Ability to coordinate with the Director and Architecture level engineers to define and refine the long-term strategic goals of the organization β€’ Ability to grasp new tools and technologies quickly β€’ Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks at a time in a fast-paced environment, often operating independently β€’ Ability to distill complex technical topics so that they can be shared and understood by a non-technical audience meaningfully β€’ Effective communication and interpersonal skills β€’ Ability to work and coordinate between multiple teams β€’ Demonstrated ability to take high-level requirements, decompose them into actionable work units, and lead the entire SDLC β€’ Passion for technology and strong motivation and responsibility for high-quality software features β€’ Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with product, development teams, leadership, senior management, and internal and external stakeholders β€’ Proven ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate across teams, effectively communicating technical details to non-technical stakeholders
