• The main purpose of the Video Editor is to provide our clients with top-quality video content. • This may include editing native TikTok Ads and Instagram Reels, collaborating with Ad Creatives Strategist to develop video concepts for creative campaigns, and keeping up-to-date with the latest trends in video editing. • The Video Editor will need to have a deep understanding of each individual client's brand, values, customer avatars, and specific requirements. • They will use this knowledge to edit videos that match the brand guidelines and are consistent with the overall creative campaign. • The Video Editor will also be responsible for preparing end video variations in native TikTok and Instagram Reels formats. • In addition, the Video Editor will be required to liaise with the Ad Creatives Strategist and potential content creators in order to execute video concepts for each project. • Performing quality control duties on the received video content to ensure that it meets guidelines will also be a part of this role. • The primary mission of our Video Editor is to ensure that we deliver top-quality video content that meets the unique needs and brand voice of each of our clients. • As the Video Editor, you will work closely with the Ad Creatives Strategist to develop video concepts for creative campaigns and collaborate with content creators to create visually stunning videos. • To succeed in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of video editing techniques and trends, and be able to execute them flawlessly in every project. • You will also need to stay up-to-date with the latest video editing software and tools and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • As our Video Editor, you will also be responsible for reviewing and editing video content, ensuring that it meets the brand guidelines and quality standards for each project. • You may be required to communicate directly with clients on occasion to understand their specific requirements and provide regular progress updates to the Ad Creatives Strategist. • Edit and prepare short-form engaging video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels that aligns with the brand's tone and voice • Brainstorm and ideate concepts for TikTok and Instagram Reels videos that will resonate with the target audience • Work with Product Managers and Ads Creatives Strategists and other team members to develop video content calendars • Create engaging, entertaining, and informative videos that incorporate relevant trending hashtags and music tracks • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques in TikTok and Instagram Reels video production • Use video editing software to create and edit high-quality native video content on TikTok and Instagram reels • Optimize video content for various platforms, including different aspect ratios, caption styles, and video lengths • Manage a variety of clients from several niches • Ensure that all video content adheres to quality standards • Provide creative input and feedback to other team members • Adapt to feedback and make adjustments to videos as needed • Maintain a strong understanding of the brand's target audience and develop content that resonates with them • Stay up-to-date on the latest social media and video trends to inform content creation and ideation • Manage video production schedules and ensure that all projects are delivered on time • Be able to Mix & Match videos according to the TikTok ads format (Hook, Problem, Solution, CTA) • Assisting with any other tasks as required by the Product Manager
• At least 2+ years of experience in video editing, with a portfolio of work that includes TikTok and Instagram Reels content • Proven track record of creating engaging and high-quality video content for social media • Proficient in video editing software, such as CapCut and TikTok • Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram Reels video trends and best practices • Experience working with social media teams and other creatives to develop content strategies • Familiarity with various video formats, including vertical, square, and videos • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines • Knowledge of copyright and fair use laws as they apply to video content creation • Must possess strong presentation, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills to effectively deliver work of high quality promptly • Must be highly accountable, responsive, and have an excellent ability to meet deadlines • Great aptitude for working with people, problem-solving, and thinking critically / analytically • Possesses a growth and results-driven mindset, and can handle and implement constructive criticism • Any remote work experience is a major advantage • Familiarity with working autonomously and managing your time (remote work experience is a plus) • Must be available and responsive during office hours (Mondays to Fridays between 3-6 PM BCN time) • Must have a stable internet connection and a laptop or PC, as well as be able to attend virtual video conferences • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (you must be fluent in English, although English doesn't have to be your native language) • Being open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism and improving on it, as well as giving feedback of similar nature productively to your team
