Description
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using Python • Design, implement, and manage robust PostgreSQL databases • Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to analyze requirements • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code • Perform code reviews and provide feedback • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues • Participate in on-call shifts • Implement security best practices
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a strong focus on Backend Development • Strong proficiency in database design, development, and optimization with PostgreSQL • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Cloud Functions • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working effectively in dynamic team environments • Adaptability to changing priorities and business needs, with a drive to take on new challenges
