β’ The Data Analyst 2 is responsible for understanding business/department needs and goals and creating data-driven analysis and insight to support management decisions. β’ Perform basic, moderate risk analyses in which information about business trends are gathered and analyzed, with some oversight from team members. β’ Track metrics and/or dashboards. β’ Report on findings; summarize analyses into clear, concise and effective reports or presentations. β’ Perform data integrity audits. β’ Compose internal documentation that details processes and findings. β’ Regularly provide input on how to improve internal efficiencies; grow knowledge and be aware of best practices and market trends. β’ Provide guidance on how to interpret data. β’ Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices.
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Engineering or a related technical field) β’ PowerBI Analyst Certification or equivalent β’ Min. 2 years experience as a Data Analyst β’ Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment β’ Ability to work independently or as a team. β’ Strong analytical skills with the ability to make meaningful recommendations that will inform our business strategy based on data analysis. β’ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. β’ Proficiency in SQL preferred. β’ Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Apache Spark or R desired. β’ Expertise manipulating large data sets, interpreting data trends, connecting data sources, and using visualization tools to tell a story with data. β’ Knowledge of data warehousing technologies and SQL server. β’ Experience building data pipelines and analyzing large datasets are a plus. β’ Highly organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking β’ Excellent oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact β’ Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills β’ Strong collaborative skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas β’ Demonstrated ability to articulate complex topics both verbally and in writing to diverse audiences β’ Strong business and technology acumen. β’ SaaS experience is a plus. β’ Up to 5% travel time required.
