📋 Description

• Build and maintain data pipelines that prepare clean structured data for analysis. • Deliver components of analytical and operational data products contributing to solutions from ingestion through production deployment. • Apply established practices for data observability, quality checks, metadata tracking, and lineage documentation within workflows. • Work with other teams to help ensure proper data access, quality, and usability for reporting and analytics. • Develop data workflows that enable downstream ML/AI capabilities, ensuring datasets are well-prepared and versioned. • Observe and provide input on new tools and techniques evaluated by senior team members. • Implement solutions that align with internal data security standards, compliance policies, and governance frameworks. • Engage in team conversations about data engineering trends, tools, and process improvements. • Contribute to team knowledge base through documenting work learnings and lessons from projects. • Actively seek feedback from senior engineers and contribute to team success through collaboration and support. • Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field. • Experience with dbt and cloud-based data orchestration tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Fivetran). • Experience in data analysis tools like Excel SQL or statistical software packages. • Good oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact. • Good organizational multi-tasking and time management skills. • Good collaboration skills applied successfully within team as well as with other areas. • Good Microsoft Excel skills. • Fluency in English language (reading, written and spoken). • Good facilitation and project management skills. • Good interpersonal skills: able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of department. • Good data gathering, interviewing and analytical/problem solving skills. • Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills. • Good in Python, SQL, and GitHub-based development workflows. • Good skills in cloud platforms (e.g., Fabric, AWS, Azure, Snowflake). • Ability to use original thinking to translate goals into the implementation of new ideas and design solutions. • Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion with oversight. • Good attention to detail. • Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate, and mobilize team members and business partners. • Good ability to develop and use engaging, informative, and compelling presentation methodologies. • Good ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact. • Good ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others; effective at gaining consensus. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. • Good knowledge of systems administration. • Good data analysis knowledge using tools; Excel SQL or statistical software packages. • Good knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems and products. • Up to 0% travel time required.
