• Who we are: • ICAST (International Center for Appropriate and Sustainable Technology) is a nonprofit delivering green upgrades to affordable housing to combat various crises. • Our Work Environment: • Collaborative, fast paced, inclusive with established career paths and flexible schedules. • Position Overview: • The Staff Accountant will assist the Controller with all accounting functions at ICAST, including payroll and monthly reporting.

Requirements

• Must Have Qualifications: • Possess a BS in Accounting or similar degree • Familiarity with ERP systems, ideally Sage Intacct. • 3+ Years of accounting experience in a similar role that includes AP, AR, ledgers, payroll, account analysis, develop KPI variance analysis and monthly reporting. • Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with construction related accounting functions as stated in the position overview. • Prior experience in an accountant role for a Non-Profit organization • Strong computer skills and familiarity with M365 (Office, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) • Exceptional organizational, communication, problem solving, research and follow-up skills
