Description

• Assist in developing protection schemes for substations and configurations for transmission and distribution systems • Prepare and review wiring diagrams, single-line diagrams, and control schematics • Develop equipment specifications, bill of materials, and engineering documentation to support procurement and construction. • Ensure all designs and documentation comply with relevant industry standards (IEEE) and regulatory requirements. • Participate in client meetings • Support field personnel during the construction, testing, and commissioning of substations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with focus on Power Systems • Advanced user of Microsoft products, specifically Word and Excel. • Familiarity with PDF software such as Bluebeam. • Basic understanding of protection principles • Familiarity with CAD software, such as AutoCAD, and Bentley MicroStation • Understanding of substation components, including transformers, switchgear, breakers, and relays is a plus • Familiarity with protection and control devices, such as protective relays, circuit breakers, and SCADA systems • Experience in the utility industry
