• Responsible for overall coordination, implementation and completion of projects. • Lead planning and implementation of cross-functional project(s). • Act as primary liaison with clients. • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables. • Manage project budget and schedule project timelines. • Develop Risk Mitigation Strategies for projects. • Provide direction and support to project team and third parties/vendors.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in clinical research, or at least 5 years of experience in clinical research when combined with 2 years or more of project management experience. • BA/BS degree in a scientific/business field, with sufficient work experience in clinical research. • Demonstrated skills in Clinical Project Management, Leadership, Critical Thinking, and Decision Making. • Qualification in Project Management or equivalent (PMI certification is desirable). • Government experience highly preferred. • Ability to organize, instruct and supervise staff, while promoting group effort and achievement. • Therapeutic experience in vaccines, infectious disease, rare diseases, and oncology strongly preferred. • CRO or pharma experience as a Clinical Project Manager. • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail required. • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and applicable FDA and ICH regulations for clinical drug trials.
