• IDC is the most respected global technology market research firm operating in over 110 countries worldwide. • Event Producer/Events Manager to join in Portugal will develop and implement IDC’s events strategy in Portugal. • Successful candidate will be responsible for delivery of IDC Directions, attracting 1.000+ attendees and 50+ partners each year.
🎯 Requirements
• A track record in producing profitable Business-to-Business event projects, ideally in IT industry • Senior manager with 8+ years of experience in event production, 3+ years in P/L management • High level of collaborative skills: team leadership, project management • Evidence of excellent communication and negotiation skills (visual, verbal, written) • Strong editing/copy writing skills (writing samples will be required) • Experience in managing multiple projects at once and to work with cost, timeline, and quality targets. • Demonstrate the ability to work independently in a matrix business environment (ideally an international business environment) • Passion for new technologies, innovations, connecting people, and seeking new business opportunities • Comprehensive understanding of content and digital marketing across multiple mediums; proven track record of building digital marketing campaigns • Excellent written and spoken Portuguese and English.
