Description

• Provide technical leadership and architectural direction for products • Lead other architects through mentoring and hands-on assistance • Own all technical matters related to assigned products • Design and orchestrate feature implementations • Maintain, guide, and improve the architectural integrity and evolution of products • Ensure best practices and architectural guidelines are followed • Develop a deep understanding of the product code base through hands-on experimentation • Assess and shepherd the technical delivery of products • Collaborate with the Product Management Team and stakeholders • Identify gaps in the technical aspects of the end user experience • Estimate software development requirements and effort • Serve as the team lead - mentoring other architects and engineers • Foster proactive collaboration among technical teams • Propose and design better systems as feasible

Requirements

• Willingness and capability to learn quickly with minimal direction • Data-driven and relentless in researching options to ensure the very best outcomes • Performance and efficiency obsessed • Ample experience building successful production software systems • Experience with software testing products, including PreEmptive highly desirable • Deep understanding of team-based software development • Track record of delivering high-quality, GA-ready software on time • Ability to take raw product requirements and develop software architectures and designs to bring products to life • Mastery of the tools of the trade, including a variety of programming languages • Key PreEmptive technologies include .NET, Java, and Javascript • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate details, designs, rationale, and build consensus • Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment • Highly organized in a manner to achieve effective communication and drive successful results from self and team • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; able to explain technical issues to non-technical roles • Desire to be challenged and deliver high-quality results in a successful technical and business environment
