• This is a full-time work from home opportunity for a star BI Data Engineer from LATAM. • IDT is an American telecommunications company founded in 1990 and headquartered in New Jersey. • We are looking for a BI Engineer to join our USA based client's BI engineering team. • The individual in this role will perform data analysis, ELT/ETL design and support functions to deliver on strategic initiatives to meet organizational goals.
Requirements
• 2+ years Oracle PL/SQL experience, ELT/ETL design, development and populating data warehouses from heterogeneous OLTP sources. • BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related technical field or equivalent industry expertise. • Very good or excellent English communication. • Understand Business Intelligence and Data warehousing concepts and methodologies. • Experience with reporting/visualization tools a plus. • Exposure to standard support ticket management tools like JIRA. • Good experience in data analysis, root cause analysis and proven problem solving and analytical thinking capabilities. • Understanding of Software Engineering principles and skills working on Unix/Linux/Windows operating systems, Version Agile. • Experience with scripting languages like Python, Shell, JavaScript, HTML5 is a plus.
