Description

• Lead a UX team defining the Imply experience for interactive data experiences on streaming and batch data with limitless scale • Build UX team, manage projects, hiring, and staffing plans ensuring quality, consistency, and scalability • Develop design guidelines, systems, and best practices to meet the needs of diverse personas • Champion user centered design practices, collaborate with engineering and product management • Review team's designs, provide feedback and guidance

Requirements

• 5+ years experience leading UX teams, with a strong portfolio of real world projects and a strong track record of cross-functional collaboration • A solid understanding of design methodologies and practices such as user-centered design, interaction design, and information architecture with strong competencies across multiple areas • Experience developing hiring and staffing plans • Experience leading and/or conducting user research with the ability to clearly synthesize actionable results • Experience creating and maintaining design systems • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant design field, or equivalent professional work experience • Experience with data visualization tools, data platforms, or enterprise B2B applications is a plus • A history of open-source contributions is a plus
