Description

• Driving continuous improvement across IAM Engineering through establishing & maintaining an automated test suite. • Contributing to and improving release planning and deployment. • Coaching the Test team and wider Engineering team for best automation practices. • Preparing and executing automated tests according to risk profile, using exploratory techniques as appropriate. • Reviewing requirements and assessing and mitigating risk within our systems. • Reporting defects, including risk assessment and reproducible cases. • Advocating the value of automated testing practices to the wider organization. • Ensuring automation solutions are pragmatic, meet requirements and allow for future extension.

Requirements

• Proven experience running automation scripts and testing on web-based applications, web services and APIs with a large user base. • Ability to hit the ground running and be autonomous in day-to-day operations. • Prior experience building automation frameworks from scratch is a must. • Applied problem solving and ability to articulate what determines 'good' automation. • Experience working in established Scale Agile environments and teams. • Strong experience with automation frameworks including but not limited to Selenium, Cucumber, Postman, SoapUI, TestNG. • Experience using testing/project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence. • Experience with Java or RoR would be advantageous.
