Description

• Lead and mentor DevOps engineers, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and automated software delivery. • Implement and maintain configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to standardize and automate deployment processes. • Collaborate with software development, QA, and operations teams to optimize the release process and reduce deployment times. • Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation). • Ensure system security, compliance, and auditing procedures are followed. • Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively manage production issues. • Identify opportunities for automation and improvements in development and operations processes. • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and tools to continuously improve DevOps practices. • Define product software and platform architecture for products under their responsibility, specifically to align with cloud infrastructure and best practices. • Plan and manage the adoption of new cloud infrastructure within the engineering teams and through the wider business. • Analyse and track market, technology and competitors related to the cloud infrastructure and best practices. • Act as the internal go-to person for all cloud-based direction. • Support Pre-Sales and Product Business Managers in generation of customer facing collateral. • Support Sales teams and Technical Solution Architects with product & cloud architecture knowledge. • Lead Engineering in defining and translating cloud architecture into development and ensuring Engineering solutions meet the architectural definition.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, including cloud infrastructure management, automation, and CI/CD pipeline development. • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Openstack, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation. • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). • Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef). • Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration. • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack). • Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. • Broad and extensive knowledge of cloud platforms and operations, including migration of applications to these platforms as well as software development process and its technologies.
