Description

• The Associate Director will be vital in designing, implementing, and managing strategic national programs to onboard and develop newly engaged activists. • This individual will work across teams to drive national campaigns' success while supporting other initiatives within the department as needed. • They should be excellent project managers in a rapidly evolving program with strong communication skills and high adaptability. • They should have great judgment, strong relationship-building skills, and significant experience in leadership/volunteer development. • They should be able to hold primary responsibility for the execution of program rollout while simultaneously supporting smaller projects.

Requirements

• Proven project management experience, able to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining high quality and performance standards. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt to diverse audiences and work collaboratively across teams. • Strong problem-solving abilities and comfort with ambiguity, especially in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated and proactive, with a track record of working independently and seeking guidance when needed. • Experience working in a progressive nonprofit. • Comfort using digital tools and virtual systems to track and manage projects (e.g., Zoom, Google Workspace, etc.). • Desire to grow professionally, including taking on leadership and people management responsibilities.
