Description

IGI is seeking a skilled and motivated Windows Systems Administrator to join our IT team. Our organization supports multiple highly critical applications that require a high level of availability and stability. As a Windows Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a high-quality, consistent customer support experience. Working Shift is a (4) 10 hour shifts that would be from Sunday-Thursday, 1PM to 9PM Mountain Time. Remote administration of Windows server operating systems (2003 – Present) Remote administration of messaging environments such as Microsoft Exchange (2013 – 2019) Monitoring and troubleshooting of hardware components and coordination with vendors for replacement installations Preparation and maintenance of process documentation.

Requirements

At least 2 years professional experience with Windows Server family of operating systems Basic knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting, with experience with HP class servers a plus Foundational knowledge of IPv4 network infrastructure and troubleshooting methods Familiarity with Microsoft and VMWare virtualization technologies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate in a remote team environment High attention to detail Openness to providing and receiving constructive feedback Experience administering a hybrid Microsoft Exchange Server (on-prem and cloud) Knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager / Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager Experience with VMWare virtualization products (ESX Hosts and Guests) Linux operating system administration Foundational knowledge of IPv6 networking Experience automating tasks using PowerShell or other scripting technologies Microsoft certifications in relevant technologies Relevant IT certifications Must be able to work in a remote team environment, be proficient in written communications; detail oriented; provide and accept constructive feedback.
