• Infopro Learning is seeking a skilled Skytap Engineer for a contract position supporting one of our top clients. • This role will provide vital support for our client’s training department, handling the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of virtual machines (VMs) on the Skytap platform. • Collaborate closely with trainers and subject matter experts to create and sustain virtual environments tailored to specific courses, ensuring cost-effective and high-performing infrastructure. • Deploy, configure, and maintain Skytap VMs for various training courses, aligning resources to meet specific course needs. • Serve as the first line of support for learners, troubleshooting VM issues to ensure a seamless training experience. • Develop and update technical documentation and troubleshooting guides for efficient VM management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years in virtualization, VM deployment, and technical support. • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python preferred) and API integrations. • Familiarity with infrastructure, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS). • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), visualization tools (Grafana, PowerBI), and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef). • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux systems. • Background in machine learning and AI.
