• Founded in 2007, Initiate Government Solutions (IGS) is a fully remote IT services provider • IGS delivers innovative Enterprise IT and Health Services solutions across the federal sector • Focus areas include data analytics, health informatics, cloud migration, and modernization of federal information systems • The CTO will support IGS by making company-wide decisions regarding technology • Role involves leading technology decisions for bids and supporting business development and operations efforts
• Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent scientific or technical discipline; fifteen (15) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education • Fifteen (15) years’ technical architecture experience, including a variety of programming languages, platforms, and operating systems • Prior experience as a senior engineering leader overseeing architecture and engineering for enterprise-wide technology platforms • Broad knowledge of software engineering languages, frameworks, techniques, and industry trends • Ability to lead technical professionals in a highly collaborative, team-based environment • Extensive knowledge of and experience with software development lifecycle and processes (Agile, SAFe, DevSecOps, ITIL, ITSM, CMMI, ISO) • Ability to facilitate and lead conversations with key government and non-government stakeholders • Candidates should possess one or more of the following certifications: ITIL 4 Foundations certification, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), TOGAF 9 certification, AWS Certified Solutions Architect- Professional, Programming certifications, Azure and Cloud certifications, Security+CE up to CISSP certifications, Certified IT Professional (CITP) • Ability to support customers during EST hours • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent analytical and organizational skills • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship due to clearance requirement
