Description

• As a highly skilled Copywriter, with a strong background in creative brand and technical copy production, you’ll have a passion for translating new technology for interested audiences. • In this role you’ll be responsible for writing clear and engaging copy, this will include blogs, whitepapers, web, newsletters, social channels and advertising formats. • Support with content ideation and owning briefs from start to completion; primarily on long-form content. (blogs, webpages, whitepapers) • Ensure each brief deliverable is completed in full, on time, and in line with Midnight's standards. • Liaise and collaborate with relevant cross-functional teams to produce copy and content. Will follow-up with questions, updates, and edits as needed. • Creative and Tone-of-voice reviews for a variety of channels (print, blog, advertising, web, promotional graphics and social media channels). • Ability to write copy for a variety of projects across marketing activities including, brand campaigns, sales enablement, advertisements, and external communications. • Ability to flex creative skills for brand marketing campaigns • Work with senior leadership to create Thought Leadership content. • Ability to translate complex technical documentation into succinct and approachable copy that can be easily consumed by technical and non-technical audience alike. • Collaborate with product marketing, product and developer relation teams for development of editorial content and developer communications. • Establish consistent messaging that resonates with its target audience. • Use persuasive writing skills to encourage development of projects and participation on the Midnight network.

Requirements

• You have demonstrable experience of writing compelling copy, content, and concepts that meet project requirements, brand guidelines and industry creative standards • Have a keen interest in Blockchain technology developments, trends in Web3, and market/competitive developments in this space. • 3+ years’ professional copywriting experience • Experience conceptualizing and writing campaigns for technical audience • A solid portfolio of creative work for a range of sectors spanning B2C to B2B • A clear ability to write both long-form and short-form content, with consistent editorial production • A demonstrable talent at transforming complex technical information into clear, comprehensible, and engaging creative copy • A solid understanding of UX writing principles • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines • Excellent organizational skills required; must be able to juggle multiple projects at once and prioritize according to business needs • Resilient, process-driven professional, able to champion good creative work and challenge feedback where needed • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or related discipline • Enjoy working in a globally distributed team environment • Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
