Description

• The Maintenance Team is responsible for day-to-day maintenance and ongoing site support services and maintenance of metering, pay-as-you-go and related IT equipment. • The Senior Commercial Heat Network Engineer will support the installation, maintenance, and effective operation of heat network equipment. • This role includes working in the built environment on multi-million-pound construction schemes and in people’s homes. • The senior Commercial Heat Network engineer will also support with the development and growth of a team of Commercial Heat Network Engineers.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial & Domestic Gas Qualifications - COCN1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1/1A, CCN1, WAT1, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1 (Minimum six months remaining prior to renewal of certification). • Must hold NVQ level 2 or higher plumbing and heating. • Desirable to hold NIC 18 th edition in domestic wiring (or equivalent) but, not essential. • Experience and knowledge of heating control systems is also preferred. • Previous experience in a service and maintenance environment. • Excellent verbal communication skills. • Experience of writing reports and completing job cards to a high standard. • Confident and experienced in using a laptop/ tablet including inputting and uploading data. • Experience of building services engineering within district and community heating, or large scale plant rooms/energy centres. • Experience of working within a service industry. • Understanding of communal/district heating schemes. • Must hold CSCS card (or able to get one). • SMSTS or SSSTS H&S desirable. • Full, clean driving licence is essential.
