Description

• Work on a content migration process to import content and assets from a large legacy website into a new, component-based system • Work on implementing features in our headless Wagtail backend to support our component-based frontend • Clearly communicate with your product manager and team throughout project • Engage and consult with stakeholders • Work collaboratively and proactively in a multidisciplinary team environment • Document and diagram systems and processes • Do great work and be great to work with

Requirements

• Experienced back-end developer, fluent in Python, Django, and Wagtail • Experience with content import processes and a detail-oriented, methodical approach • Ability to write component models within a Django and Wagtail environment • Ability to design and write APIs • Experience working with Azure App Service is a plus • Experience with MySQL and Rails (the legacy system we’re importing from) is a plus • Ability to document systems & solutions • Positive, supportive attitude to remove roadblocks rather than create them • Collaboration, flexibility, humility, confidence
