📋 Description

• Manage Equipment Breakdown risk control • Consult with clients, contractors, insurance brokers and engineers on loss prevention and risk control matters • Identify, evaluate, and quantify various risk factors and create risk improvement recommendations • Develop, implement and champion Risk Control client service focus by understanding clients’ needs • Ensure high-quality service through consultations and develop industry risk control best practices • Provide insurance support via Loss Prevention Reports • Collaborate with national Risk Control teams to ensure service standards are current • Foster and motivate a collaborative team culture across groups • Participate in continuous learning and development activities • Support management efforts for service improvements • Perform other related responsibilities as directed.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum five (5) years of progressive industrial experience in engineering, inspection, power operation, operation or maintenance of boilers, pressure vessels and machinery, or EBI insurance • Degree in engineering, technical engineering, related sciences, College Diploma or trades certification • Knowledge and experience in Equipment Breakdown risk control • Knowledge of ASME Codes and TSSA regulations in boilers and pressure vessels • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment breakdown damage mechanism • Strong analysis, problem solving and decision-making capabilities • Clients focused with strong relationship building skills • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills • Strong learning, adaptation, and coaching skills • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills, agility, and the ability to work under minimal supervision • Continue to inform and educate the Risk Control team and management the latest industry trend and new technology • Prefer to have NB IS commission and TSSA Certificate of Competency for boiler and pressure vessel inspection • Experience in review and analysis of third-party Risk Control and Engineering reports, an asset • Professional Engineer designation, a definite asset • Bilingual (English/French), an asset • Possession of a valid driver's license in good standing • CIP and CRM designation, an asset
