• We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to help build and maintain the core components of the Cosmos Hub. • The ideal candidate is curious, eager to learn, and committed to writing clear and maintainable code. • They care about decentralization and trust minimization and believe that good software design and thorough testing accelerate development rather than slow it down. • They thrive in a collaborative, public development environment and are excited about contributing to an open-source community.
• Software engineering experience (academic, professional, or open-source). • Proficiency in Go or a similar programming language. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment. • Interest in blockchain technology and the Cosmos ecosystem. • Time zone requirement: Must be within NYC ± 6 hours for effective collaboration. • Bonus: Contributions to open-source projects. • Bonus: Experience with distributed systems or blockchain development. • Bonus: Familiarity with Cosmos development stack (CosmosSDK, CometBFT, IBC Protocol, etc.)
