• Serve as a thought leader and strategy driver for the technology roadmap and a key member of the leadership team. • Formulate long-term strategy for technological development, product layout plan, roadmap for new product development, and the company's long-term engineering practices. • Work closely with Product Managers and Developers to define and deliver new products and enhancements. • Manage the company's overall core technology, organize the formulation and implement the major technical decisions. • Work with business and development teams to understand and influence product vision and requirements. • Understand and influence all elements of the software lifecycle work together and develop quality engineering approaches that fit the overall architecture. • Build and manage a team of software engineers, QA and analysts. • Develop the long-term strategy for your programs and translate that into an achievable road map/action plan. • Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments. • Management of resources, staffing, mentoring, and enhancing and maintaining a best-in-class engineering team. • You will be working with a team who is fast moving, fun and creative but more importantly extremely dedicated, focused and ambitious! • This role involves getting on the ground floor of a startup, with the opportunity to build out and shape the Engineering function, and work directly with the core team in scaling the business.
• Significant experience as a senior-level Technology executive in a growth company and has built a successful technology organization at scale. • A seasoned leader who has worked in roles focused on Engineering & Data Science. • An understanding and appreciation of all aspects of business, technology and data science would be key. • Deep knowledge and experience of the B2B Enterprise SaaS domain is preferred. • Seeking an entrepreneurial VP Engineering who has a passion for building elite - teams, ideas, architectures and platforms. • Worked during a hyper-growth at a B2B company with experience in managing the complexity of multiple products serving multiple industries/markets/segments and buyers. • Strategic mindset and a desire to dive in and solve business challenges as well technical challenges. • Experience in modern tech stack and frameworks. • Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse team members and external parties. • Demonstrated ability to inspire, align, and enable large teams across functions in order to drive a successful business. • Track-record of building extraordinary teams. • Record of coaching and developing individuals and teams to fulfil their potential.
