Description

• Deployment of services on the cloud • Developing and maintaining installation and configuration procedures • Debug, troubleshoot, and fix technical issues • Contributing to continuous delivery workflow as part of agile development • Working as part of the global team to improve the development process • Participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle

Requirements

• RAN domain competence preferable • Experience in Kubernetes operators and Kubernetes based cloud native intent automation tools (e.g. Nephio) • Experience in Lifecycle Management (upgrade, rollback, termination) • Understanding of cloud native best practices and how to utilize them • Networking microservices (including Troubleshooting, CICD, Support) • Experience with CaaS, Kubernetes and Linux Networking (DNS, NAT, Security) and Transport, TCP/IP, sync (PTP) • Experience with solution architecture, developing and troubleshooting Storage related solutions (Object/block storage, rook/CEPH etc. • Skilled programming ability (GO & Python preferred), also highly skilled in SW design C-programming, and C++ programming on GPP, socket programming • Experience in embedding best practices CI/CD and DevOps, knowledge of Jenkins, Spinnaker and ability to support and train other developers on design techniques and coding standards. • Good 3GPP radio access standardization knowledge, including radio access algorithms, radio access protocols. • Good knowledge of test methodology, test tools and simulators on system as well as node level. • Good understanding of Linux and able to use DPDK and Smart Network Interface cards to optimize the data processing path. • Understand concepts like Docker containers, Kubernetes deployment, Helm charts and canary deployment. • Good knowledge in Git, Gerrit and Jira. • Be able to work with SW design, SW implementation and SW verification/integration. • Be able to understand system testing concepts and drive needed lab builds to test software produced in the team. • Knowledge about agile and lean ways of working. • Self-driven and proactive approach. • Good Command of English • Good documentation skills.
