• Waste in your takeout is a problem? • Are you uncomfortable with the throwaway status quo? • Do you believe that climate change is the biggest threat to humanity? • Do you want to use your skills to inspire people to tackle climate change and embrace conscious living? • Inwit is more than an internship - it's a calling! • We inspire and empower people to take climate action by enjoying their takeout waste-free. • We are Canada's first zero-waste takeout app! • We work with local restaurants and food retailers to offer their delicious food in reusable packaging to our local community in Toronto. • We are looking for a PHP Web Developer responsible for managing back-end and front-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. • Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. • You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. • Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a PHP developer in a competitive environment. • Strong knowledge of PHP coding and web-based applications. • Good understanding of website integration and software creation. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Able to follow clear instructions according to client demands. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Creative ability to produce effective solutions to client problems. • Good team player that is enthusiastic about delivering results. • Able to work seated in front of a computer screen for long hours at a time. • Experience working in an agile environment, participating in stand up meetings, and documenting your work.
