📋 Description

• Coordinate monthly and quarterly close processes initially for the European subsidiaries. • Create monthly reporting package and reconciliation, review reconciliations prepared by external accounting consultants. • Work closely with the Corporate accounting team on global cash and debt management. • Maintain procedures related to the revaluation of foreign currency balances. • Ensure that the European subsidiaries are operating within a SOX-compliant control framework. • Support with the preparation of the local GAAP financial statements and statutory compliance. • Collaborate with Supply Chain as it pertains to the movement of goods in the manufacturing and sales processes. • Assist with ad-hoc projects, as required.

🎯 Requirements

• BA or BS degree (or equivalent) in finance/accounting required. • Approximately 5+ years of experience in international accounting and finance. • In-depth knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP or IFRS rules as well as SOX requirements. • Experience in public accounting and pharma industry strongly preferred. • Experience in international payroll operations and compliance is preferred but not required. • Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills, both oral and written. • Experience developing systems and processes. • Strong Communication skills and change management mindset.
