Description

• Develop accurate, timely estimates for projects under design and construction • Maintain professionalism and ethical behavior • Review project plans, requirements, and specifications • Manage the estimate and client process from start to finish • Prepare quantity take-offs, source and vet cost data • Identify, quantify, and justify cost and schedule uncertainties/risks • Update costs based on new information and project scope changes • Prepare cost submission documents and review others' work • Ensure estimate aligns with scope, sequencing, and performance periods • Interface with subcontractors, owners, and various departments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline with 5 years estimating experience, or an associate’s degree and 10 years of estimating experience • Federal DoD, EPC, industrial, and commercial project costing experience • Direct experience in estimating software: MCACES MII, PACES, RS Means, etc. • Certified Cost Professional Certification (CCP) or Certified Estimating Professional Certification (CEP) from AACE • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced skills in Excel • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time management skills • Support multiple clients/projects simultaneously • Training in construction costs and principles • Authorized to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship
