Description

• Work within the research team to extract deep knowledge from our data and analyze it • Collaborate with fellow researchers on academic research papers and discuss findings at conferences • Ensure the data collected finds its way into our products - IP geolocation, VPN detection, IP tags

Requirements

• PhD in computer science, data science, statistics, or a related field - or equivalent experience • Proven experience as a researcher or in a related role • Publication track record in networking or security conferences (e.g., ACM IMC, ACM SIGCOMM, ACM CoNEXT) or journals (e.g., ACM SIGCOMM CCR, IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking) • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Go; data analysis using SQL, pandas, or R • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement - curious, flexible, believing it can be done better
