Description

• The Platform Engineer supports the sales team to ensure smooth operations to meet the growing list of technical requirements for the platform product and new industry vertical applications by: • Support and maintain containerization/orchestration • Build and maintaining pipelines for new deployments • Manage and track changes to infrastructure as code • Work with other groups throughout the organization to ensure technical alignment and that best practice approaches as well as industry and internal standards are being used • Perform other related duties, as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Linux • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and troubleshooting • Experience with Jenkins • Experience with infrastructure management tools like Terraform, KubeCtl, ArgoCD, Rancher, and Helm • Experience running systems both in public cloud (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) • Experience using Git or other distributed version control systems and code repositories • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ideally, knowledge of Node.js design and development • Enterprise Integration especially web services • Experience working in an Agile environment • Experience with Ubuntu • Experience with CloudFormation or Ansible • Experience with bug tracking tools and automation scripting languages • Experience with Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) or web mapping
